David Williams

Copper artist David Williams has been a NASCAR crew chief, done stock car fabrication, and founded a successful marketing firm. Now living in Lynn Haven, Florida, he uses his metal fabrication skills to create impressive artwork.  David draws his design on the back of a piece of copper, then uses electric and manual shears to follow the design.  Building depth into the piece, he uses a bead roller, hammers it out, tempers it with a torch, and finishes his art with clear lacquer.  He also uses aluminum so he can adjust colors to each piece and adds startling glass eyes to his fish and animals. David does not create artwork for money; a percentage of what he earns goes to charities that support children through The Happy Fish Foundation.
