WhatsApp icons for Android in Beta

WhatsApp icons for Android in Beta

Earlier there was news that WhatsApp was testing a few business tools and planned to boost their revenue.  The company is moreover is trying to improve the everyday experience. On the other hand, WhatsApp is trying everything possible to improve its users’ experience almost on a daily basis. The WhatsApp v2.17.93 beta for Android has made a little change in regards to the attachment button. So the voice calling button is completely different from the video calling button. Earlier these kinds of features were exclusively available only to the iPhone device users.

At the time of the first launch of the WhatsApp video calling feature, it was hidden underneath the call button which is located on the top edge. Upon tapping on this particular option the user would receive two options. – appsgeek.org One for voice call and the other for video call. The user will need to then make an appropriate selection. Finally, the Facebook-owned instant messaging services company has decided to test a separate video button. However, this test will run in its latest beta version of Android. They decided on this so the users will be able to view and utilize the video calling option that is available.

With this new change, there is one more difference to note that makes it more comfortable for users. The new video call button on WhatsApp replaces the old attachment button that was beside the call button. So this makes a reason for the attachment button to move towards the bottom side near the text bar. Also, this is just beside the icon showcasing a camera which was also redesigned. With the new arrangement of buttons, the user can access all conversation buttons more conveniently. This is because all of them are at one place while users will not have to move right up to attach a file or image. This placement of icons is similar to the iPhone where users can access the attachment button on the text bar at the screen bottom.

However, these new WhatsApp Android icons are being tested which means they are in Beta version as of now.
