Aaron, the Colorblind Painter

Available ArtMore about Aaron

Aaron was “that artist kid”

Aaron was “that artist kid” growing up in Texas. He drew everything… from friends in his class to biblical stories and right from his imagination. He entered and won just about every art contest and scholarship that was available. While in art school at Texas Tech, he discovered painting and hasn’t been able to shake it. After graduation, he decided to take an adventure to Florida with his beautiful wife Emily to paint the landscapes, families, beaches and quaint communities that offer a wealth of inspiration to draw from. His subject matter changes depending on the inspiration that strikes him.

Aaron also has a unique challenge in his art career. He is both red-green and blue-violet color blind. Because of his color blindness, his ultimate inspiration for painting is Jesus. He draws inspiration particularly from the verse found in 2 Corinthians 12:9 – “My grace is all you need, because my power is made perfect in weakness.”
